The accounts Antidote connects

Antidote and WordPress

Approved blog posts go straight to your WordPress site. The Antidote team sets up access with you and checks that published posts appear where they should.

What it does

When you approve a blog, Antidote publishes it to your WordPress site with its title and images. It does not change your theme, redesign your site or move it to a new host.

Setting it up

Tell us which site to use, especially if you have more than one or a staging copy. We add publishing access, and you can see the connection in the app under Settings › Connected.

  1. Tell us which WordPress site to use.
  2. We add publishing access; you can see it under Settings › Connected.
  3. Approve a blog for that site.
  4. Open the live post and check it.

After a post goes live

Open the live page and check the title, images and contact links. If publishing fails, the app shows the failed status so it can be fixed. A working connection today does not guarantee how quickly Google indexes the post.

Common questions

Will it change how my site looks?

No. Posts use your existing theme. Antidote publishes blog posts; it does not redesign or migrate your site.

What if publishing fails?

The app shows a failed status for that post, and the team can check the connection with you.

Do social posts go to WordPress too?

No. WordPress is for blog posts. Social posts go to your connected Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn accounts.
