The accounts Antidote connects

Antidote and MCP for Claude and ChatGPT workflows

MCP lets a compatible AI assistant use Antidote’s research, drafting and other tools. You can work through an assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT once the team checks compatibility and sets up access.

What it connects

Model Context Protocol, or MCP, is a way for an assistant to call tools in another service. Antidote’s server offers research, drafting, publishing, social and brand context tools. The assistant can use the tools available to its connection. Which ones appear depends on the server, access and services working behind them.

Setting it up

Tell the team which assistant and business you want to use. We check compatibility, the server address and how you sign in. Claude and ChatGPT environments can have different connection options. Ask the team to inspect the actual tool list with you before relying on a particular action being available.

  1. Tell us which assistant and business you want to connect.
  2. We check compatibility and set up access.
  3. Inspect the available tools together.
  4. Authorise public actions explicitly and check their results.

Deciding what it may do

Connecting an assistant does not give it blanket permission to change your business accounts. Explicitly authorise public actions and check their results. A successful tool response still needs a look at the live post or relevant report. If a tool is missing, the team can check the service it relies on.

Common questions

Can any ChatGPT account connect straight away?

No. The team needs to check the connection options in your assistant’s environment.

Will every Antidote tool be available?

The actual tool list depends on access and the services available to that connection. Check it with the team.

Does connecting give permission to publish?

No. Public actions need explicit authorisation, followed by a check of the result.
