The accounts Antidote connects

Antidote and Facebook

The Facebook connection publishes social posts to the business account you choose with the team. You get a way to send finished captions and images to the right account and check the result.

What it does

Antidote publishes social work through the Facebook account connected for your business. Before posting, it checks which accounts your business may use. This matters when several businesses share a publishing service: access to that service alone does not authorise a post to every account the service can see.

Setting it up

Tell the team which business account should receive posts and who controls its access. We connect it and check the account identity. Review the connection in Settings, then check the chosen account on the piece itself. Read captions, images and contact links together, especially when photos show a particular branch.

  1. Name your Facebook business account and its owner.
  2. We connect it and check access.
  3. Read the caption, image and links.
  4. Check the published post on that account.

After you approve

A post can still fail if access expires or the account cannot be identified. Check its status and open the public post. Anything you ask for in the app waits for approval; your regular schedule follows the rule agreed with the team. Facebook ads, private messages and audience management are outside this connection.

Common questions

Does this run Facebook ads?

No. This connection is for social publishing, not advertising or audience management.

How do we choose the account?

Tell the team which business account to connect, then check the account on each piece.

Can a post fail after approval?

Yes. Expired access or an account problem can prevent it appearing. Check the publication status.
