Marketing for your kind of business

Marketing for restaurants and cafés

Antidote drafts Google Business posts, review replies and Instagram captions from your restaurant or café’s current menu, hours and photographs. Your manager checks the details and approves drafts, or agrees a routine publishing rule with the Antidote team, with dietary wording checked by the kitchen.

The problem

A diner finds an old menu photograph, unclear opening hours and an unanswered review about a wait. Your Instagram feed looks inviting, but the next event has no post ready. Staff keep explaining what is available today because the information people find online has fallen behind the kitchen.

Why it happens

The manager is on the floor during service, and the kitchen decides what the menu can accurately say. Specials, hours and events change while old captions remain visible. Writing falls between shifts, then waits again for someone to check ingredients, dietary claims and whether the photograph matches the dish.

What we do

Antidote prepares Google Business posts about menus, hours and events, Instagram captions using your photographs, and replies to Google reviews. Your manager confirms service details and event information; the kitchen always checks allergen and dietary claims. Each eligible location’s Google profile is connected separately. Anything you ask for in the app waits for your approval. You agree review before publishing or publishing on your behalf for scheduled posts with the Antidote team, and review replies use your agreed policy. The week above is an invented example of how that might look. We agree the real plan with you.

A sample week to discuss
Part of the workWhat to consider
Monday · Google postWhere to find the current lunch menu. Link to the café’s own menu and check service hours.
Tuesday · InstagramA dish from the kitchen. Use an approved photograph; the kitchen checks ingredients and dietary wording.
Thursday · Google postAn evening event at the café. Draft from the manager’s event notes; confirm the date and booking details.
Friday · Review replyFeedback about a wait for a table. Acknowledge the experience without sharing booking or guest details.

What changes

Your manager can review a menu link, event caption or proposed reply in the morning brief between services. Live posts give the team something concrete to check against the current menu and hours. Kitchen approval stays part of any dietary wording. We do not guarantee table bookings, footfall, rankings or recommendations from AI assistants.

Common questions

Who checks allergen and dietary wording?

The kitchen always checks these claims against the actual dish and ingredients. Antidote drafts from the information you provide; it cannot decide whether a dish suits a guest’s dietary needs.

Can you announce a menu change or event?

Yes, using the menu, hours, dates and event details your manager supplies and verifies. We can prepare Google Business and Instagram posts for the accounts you connect.

How do we review posts during service?

Anything requested through Create waits for your approval. For the regular schedule, you choose with us whether each draft waits for you or we publish on your behalf. Review replies follow the rule you agree with us.
