Marketing for your kind of business

Marketing for home services

Antidote drafts Google Business posts, review replies and practical blog articles from your plumbing, electrical or cleaning business’s own information. Your owner or service manager checks the work and approves drafts, or agrees a different rule with the Antidote team for routine pieces.

The problem

Customers ask whether you cover their area and what a visit includes because your profile says little beyond a trade name. Reviews about arrival times wait for a reply. The website has no helpful explanation of when to call, so the owner answers the same scope questions between jobs.

Why it happens

Your owner or service manager is travelling, quoting and coordinating work rather than writing articles. The team knows what it covers, but those details are scattered across calls and messages. A how-to post also needs a competent check: a writer cannot invent safety guidance or regulatory advice to fill the gaps.

What we do

We draft Google Business posts for the service areas covered by your eligible profiles, review replies and practical how-to or “when to call a pro” articles. Each profile is connected separately; serving another area does not automatically mean another profile. Your owner verifies coverage and scope, and the relevant trade expert checks any guidance you supply. We add no safety or regulatory advice beyond that material. Anything you ask for in the app waits for your approval; the regular schedule and review replies follow the rules you agree with us. The week above is an invented example of how that might look. We agree the real plan with you.

A sample week to discuss
Part of the workWhat to consider
Monday · BlogWhat to ask before booking a deep clean. Explain the business’s own scope and enquiry process.
Tuesday · Google postAreas our team covers. Use the owner’s checked service-area details and contact route.
Thursday · Blog draftWhen to call a professional cleaner. Use only the practical guidance the business supplies; invent no safety advice.
Friday · Review replyFeedback about an arrival time. Offer a private contact route without identifying a customer’s home.

What changes

Coverage and enquiry questions can become public explanations your service manager has checked. The morning brief keeps proposed replies and articles visible while the team is out on jobs, and you can inspect the live posts afterwards. Search Console can show impressions for website articles. We cannot guarantee calls, booked jobs, rankings or AI mentions.

Common questions

Can a blog give electrical or plumbing safety advice?

We use only the guidance your business supplies and your relevant trade expert checks. We add no safety or regulatory advice of our own.

Do we get a Google profile for every area?

Not automatically. Google Business work uses eligible profiles, connected separately, with the service areas your owner confirms.

Can the owner review drafts before a job starts?

Anything you ask for in the app always waits for your approval. For the regular schedule, you choose with us whether each draft waits for you or we publish on your behalf. Review replies follow the rule you agree with us.
